Singapore’s Climate Voucher can be used on selected energy-saving DC ceiling fans. If you are replacing a noisy AC fan — or fitting a first fan on an existing light point — this is the scheme to look at before you pay cash.
Home Genie stocks voucher-eligible models. On the product page, look for “Accept Climate Voucher” or “Climate Voucher Eligible”. We carry KDK, Fanco and Point One DC fans that qualify; we will not list model names here because eligibility can change. If a listing does not say the voucher is accepted, do not assume it is.
A DC motor uses less power than a typical AC ceiling fan and runs quieter. That is why these models sit on the voucher list. You still get a normal remote, light kit (where the model has one), and the same install process as any other ceiling fan we hang.
Installation is the part most homeowners do not want to DIY. We take down the old fan, mount the new one on the existing light point, balance the blades, and test the remote and light before we leave. A concrete ceiling under 3m is the $60 basic job. False-ceiling reinforcement, extra height, new wiring and disposal are add-ons on the booking form — we quote those from photos, not guesswork.
