Climate Vouchers: Eligible Appliances in Singapore (2026)

The Climate Friendly Households Programme (CFHP) helps Singapore households pay for energy- and water-efficient appliances. This guide sets out which appliances qualify, the tick requirements, who can claim and how to make the most of the vouchers.

How much are Climate Vouchers and when do they expire?

Eligible households can claim S$400 (S$300 plus S$100), valid until 31 December 2027.

Who is eligible for Climate Vouchers?

According to the programme (Climate Friendly Households Programme FAQs):

  • Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents registered and living at an HDB flat
  • Singapore Citizens registered and living at a private residential property

Each household is entitled to one set of S$300 and one set of S$100. Multiple families or tenants at the same registered address share one set between them. Only one member of the household needs to claim and can share the voucher links with the others (Climate Friendly Households Programme FAQs).

If you claimed the S$300 before 15 April 2025, HDB households can now claim the additional S$100 only (About Climate Vouchers).

Which appliances can I buy with Climate Vouchers?

From 15 April 2026, the vouchers cover 12 types of energy- and water-efficient products (Climate Friendly Households Programme FAQs, NEA: household sector):

How do I get the most from my vouchers?

Spend them on the product that saves you the most, usually the appliance that runs the longest hours.

  1. Pick the product that saves you the most. For many households that's the appliance that runs the longest hours, often the aircon.
  2. Check the label first. The product must meet the tick requirement, or be approved under the programme.
  3. Buy from a participating retailer. The vouchers can't be used anywhere else (CFHP terms and conditions).
  4. Combine with sales. The vouchers offset the price you pay at the retailer.
  5. Use them before 31 December 2027.

How does the energy label help me choose?

NEA's energy label shows the tick rating (1 to 5) and the estimated annual energy use, so you can compare models directly (NEA: the energy label). Combined with the vouchers, a higher-tick model can cost less overall.

Can I split vouchers across products?

Yes. The vouchers come in small denominations (S$2 to S$50), so they are easy to spread across purchases.
